Matt and his wife Amy have been members of Temple Shalom since 1995. They celebrated all four of their daughters' Bat Mitzvahs at Temple Shalom. Prior to becoming President of the congregation, Matt served on numerous committees, was President of the Men's Club, and was Treasurer for several years. In his spare time, . . . never mind, he doesn't have any.

We have  been members of Temple Shalom for only three years, but it was an instant match.  I had belonged to another shul but found in Temple Shalom a truly wonderful opportunity to be in the company of a lot of great folks and a very active and achieving congregation.

In the real world I am a cardiologist. I have had the opportunity to retire so that I can spend more time doing other things I love, like Temple Shalom. How amazing, at this age, to finally find a family.  Tom Passo

My family and I moved to Louisville in 1994.  Both my husband Steve and I teach at the University of Louisville.  We have two children and one beautiful grandchild.  We have been active members of Temple Shalom since we joined in 1997.  Our daughter Faye was a  Bat Mitzvah and a Confirmant of Temple Shalom.  I am a Past President of Temple Shalom (2010-2012) and I am currently Membership Co Vice President with Elaine Cummings.  It is an honor for me to serve this warm and caring congregation.
