The Women of Temple Shalom (WOTS) invite all the women of our congregation to be part of its exciting program of service, study and participation. For those of you who are not already members, please consider joining our dedicated group. Those of you who have been members know that we need YOU, YOUR effort, and YOUR friendship.

Sisterhood provides the arena for each of us to expand, socialize and have fun in a Jewish atmosphere. We band together in friendship for social activities, study and personal growth. We offer various programs throughout the year, including our special Sisterhood Shabbat and the monthly meetings of our Women's Havurah.

The Women of Temple Shalom have a thriving Judaica Shop, featuring some of the finest Jewish items available from a variety of sources. The mezuzot, dreidels, menorahs, seder plates, cards, kippot, and special Temple Shalom clocks have been a popular way to support the temple. One item in particular, which is not available elsewhere, deserves note: the Temple Shalom mugs which are microwave-safe have a picture of Temple Shalom on one side and on the other side, Rabbi Miles' favorite saying to those on the bimah -- Yasher Koach, May You Gain Strength -- in both Hebrew and English. What better greeting to read with your morning coffee! (One warning, though: While the paint is microwave-safe, it is not dishwasher-safe.)

Many new items have been arriving almost daily in our Judaica Shop to tempt you, including: WRJ Uniongrams!!! When you buy Uniongrams and other stationery, you support the Youth, Education and Special Projects (YES) Fund of the Women of Reform Judaism. (Now that Temple Shalom has an active Youth Group, our high school students will benefit from the YES Fund.)
