Our Cemetery

Temple Shalom has two separate locations for eternal rest for our members. The first, opened shortly after the congregation was formed, provided a section within Cave Hill, one of the oldest and largest cemeteries in Louisville. All 120 graves in that section have since been sold.

We recently made arrangements for 140 spaces in a new section of Congregation Keneseth Israel’s large cemetery in the southern part of Louisville. These should last us for many years to come.
