Volunteers have been at the heart of Temple Shalom since its inception. Performing many varied functions both in- and outside of the committee structure, our volunteers have crafted our Torah covers for everyday and holiday use, built pieces of furniture and the original bima, and even created the Ark adornments.
Twice a year, a different group holds a Mitzvah Day to perform upkeep on the grounds. From cooking meals after select Shabbat services and making lots of legendary latkes or participating in many ways to help our congregational life run smoothly, these members are important to our ability to provide many of the services we can offer.
Once you join Temple Shalom, we hope you will tell us about your interests and skills, and explore the many exciting ways to be a part of our family.
